This ensemble film follows DJ Cutmaster Cruz, his best friend and MC, K La Rock, his girlfriend and partner, Ruby Dee, and club owner Charlie Walker as they navigate their way through the early days of Hip-Hop and the volatile world of the South Bronx in the late 70’s and early 80’s. DJ Charlie Chase and Mark “Skillz” McCord are consulting. Travis Gutiérrez Senger is writing/directing.
